Tyrrell Hatton cruised to a maiden European Tour title with a convincing victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The 24-year-old followed his course-record equalling 62 on Saturday with a six-under 66 on the Old Course at St Andrews in the final round to finish four strokes clear of Richard Sterne and Ross Fisher. Fisher cut the gap to four with a four-foot gain at the 10th and Sterne also edged closer with a birdie-two at the 11th, only for Hatton to hole a 10-foot birdie at the 12th to restore his cushion.
